Intown Living

The Rodgers Residence is located in Midtown Atlanta. A growing densly populated neighborhood with historic homes and restricted sites. They approached Kuo Diedrich to add an addition to the home and renovate the interior and exterior spaces creating a blending of the old and new.

A portion of the Addition is a free standing garage with living suite above. Because of area restrictions on the site great care was taken to create efficient well design spaces that had multi functions. The Suite was connected to the main house by exterior patio space which contains a geometrical lap pool and lounge area. The outdoor living space increased the home owners usable entertainment space. The result was a blend of the new and old to create meaningful space.
